Daily Rincon Surf Report - Comments

Biggest Wave Seen: 2ft Overhead
Winds: Calm right now but they will pick up more out of the NE later on today.
Water Temp: 78º F
Air Temp: 70º F this morning 82º F predicted for the afternoon
Ehhhh... still choppy and the size has dropped. It could get better with the incoming tide (i sure hope so). The NE angle and shorter period is what's killing us on this swell. Because of the angle most spots that are blocked from the NE winds also block the waves.
5:00pm UPDATE
More wind and more waves. Suprise, Suprise - It's picked back up considerably from this morning. The wind has been 20 mph + alllll day and the north side is very big and choppy. South side is actually looking a lot better with some of the bigger sets still 4ft Overhead. The form is not too great but better than yesterday and still plenty of size.

Rincon, Puerto Rico (PR) Wave Forecast

It's looking like the size should hold through the rest of the week fading out into the weekend. The next few days will still have strong afternoon winds so hopefully it's more ENE and keeps the south clean instead of NNE that makes everywhere choppy especially since the swell is fading. Mid next week we see another swell from a coldfront heading our way. This one looks to have a lot more NNW swell in it and should be fun.
