The waves are still perfect. The swell will be fading as the day goes on but there's plenty of waves to be ridden. The crowds are heavy and ruthless. People dropping in on each other is at an all time high. This season is off to a busy and ugly start. Oddly enough, the best waves are still going through with no one on them.
